2 Chronicles 1-4
God is pleased when Solomon asks for wisdom. It is a sign of the fear of the Lord - that Solomon recognises God as creator, and therefore definer, of all things. If you are to look for wisdom anywhere, look to the Lord - and assess the wisdom of others by how close they are to the Lord.
