Acts 1-4

"with one accord" is emphasised by Luke 3 times in the first two chapters. Unity is a key to breakthrough: Genesis 6 And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Understood as with one language, just as on the day of pentecost: 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Peter didn't pray: he exercised his God-given authority.

Barnabus: encouragement is about actions as well as words.
