(5v4, 5) "And they shall dwell secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth. And he shall be their peace"
At last, the perfect king and the perfect kingdom! Only Christ would be able to bring peace to the people of God. He would be the perfect servant - in receiving his righteousness, we receive the covenant blessings that go with it. God delivered up his own Son for us all - "How will He not also freely give us all things?" (Rom 8v32)
