Leviticus 1-4

What an affect it must have had on the sinner to observe the animal separated from its fat, its bloodput on the altar and poured on the ground, and its carcass cooked. I am certain that watchig all of that must have produced a measure of confidence that God was covering the sin. How much more so may we look upon the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ and have confidence that are sins are completely forgiven and obliterated by His sacrifice. It is indeed a "sweet aroma before the Lord".
