A quiet day, as I'm laid low with a bug - high temperature, aches, etc.
The Lord really lays it on the line, and points again and again and again(!) to the sins of His people. Conviction must come before true repentance.
(7v16) 'Do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you'
Jeremiah was the Lord's servant, but even he could not twist God's arm. God's will was determined - there would be chastening before there was change.
