I know it is widely understood that this book can be read as an allegory or expression of Christ's love for the church, but I tried reading it as if my church or even me myself was being addressed. Jesus' affection for us is devastating.
10 Who is she who looks forth as the morning, Fair as the moon, Clear as the sun, Awesome as an army with banners?
I feel good!
