(25v6) 'Remember your mercy...'
This struck me a while back when looking at Noah - God creates the rainbow, not so that we will remember the covenant, but so He will remember. Of course, God never remembers or forgets in the sense that we do. But our desire is for His actions and will to be motivated by certain things (here, mercy and steadfast love) more than others ('the sins of my youth').
