8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
Pure here means cleansed. Seeing God really begins with a revelation of forgiveness.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Am I hiding, or just hiding what I believe?
