How did the priests get into adultery and injustice and yet still feel qualified to prophesy? The answer to my mind is that they had no intimacy with the one who could've corrected them. Access to the Holy of Holies, and religiously they did go in, but only to perform. "Depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you"
How intimate am I with my Father? With my Brother? With my Friend? With Jesus?
18 For who has stood in the counsel of the LORD, And has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it?
