(Lev 17) The rod becomes a symbol of authority, and is used as such to end the grumbling. 'Spare the rod, and spoil the child'. Forsake your authority as a parent, and there will be a negative impact upon your child!
(Lev 20) The people harden their hearts. We must have soft hearts, ready to listen even to truths that make us uncomfortable. We must trust in Christ, the Rock that supplies living water of eternal satisfaction.
