Well, you can tell I've started writing the blog first thing in the morning, as I've had to edit a few mistakes - especially mixing up Balaam and Balak...!
The Reubenites and the Gadites discover the past can come back to haunt you! They want land on this side of the Jordan, and Moses must test their desire. Do they want the Lord's way, or do they just want the easiest way? As believers, we must come out of the shadow of our parents, and find God's path for us, even if it means admitting our parents sometimes got it wrong!
