This is one of the blessings of doing this blog, John - I can honestly say the account of Balaam has 'flown under the radar' previously, and reading it now has been fantastic!
The account of Balak. Hard to sum this one up, there's so much there! Balak's stubbornness is almost comedic! As Balaam continues in faith, he sees more and more of the will of God for His people, leading to the fantastic prophecy at the end of ch.24, which directs our thoughts to Christ.
