Numbers 33-36

Numbers 33 says the Israelites left Egypt full of boldness: of course, they'd just seen God's power displayed against their enemy. They would have kept the boldness if they'd kept that memory in their heart.

Numbers 34-5. It must have been really helpful for the people's faith to hear detailed instructions given for the dividing of the land, its borders and how many levitical cities, when they hadn't even begun to conquer it.
