What a picture - the Israelites are freed as the Egyptians bury all their firstborn (Num 33v3, 4). The Egyptians paid such a high price - yet even today people are prepared to lose their souls in the hope of gaining the world.
The Lord secures the inheritance for the tribe of Gilead (Num 36). The Lord secures our inheritance, too - and keeps it 'reserved in heaven'.
