Exodus 8-10

As long as Pharaoah has some last vestiges of strength left. As long as his magicians can accomplish for themselves what God can do. As long as there is at least some wheat crops left, then Pharoah will not release the people of God. How true is this in our own lives? We rely on what we can do and understand with the natural mind. We function as Christians almost entirely inside the realm of our own experience, and never step out into the unknown, what Paul refers to as the obedience of faith. Does it take the shattering of our old identity (or in Pharaoahs case his dynasty) to release the resurrection power of God within?
