Matthew 1 and Genesis 1-3

What struck me in both passages was the inclusion of prophecy - the curse regarding the serpent, and the arrival of Immanuel, "God with us". I realise again that God has it all planned out, even from the beginning of creation. What an assurance as we enter another new year.
